What is a Dyslexia Screener?
A dyslexia screener is an initial assessment designed to identify potential indicators of dyslexia. It provides a snapshot of a learner's phonological awareness, processing speed, and memory, helping to highlight where specific literacy challenges may exist.

Meet Your Specialist Tutor
Founded in 2022, Valley Tuition Ltd is the culmination of my journey as both a parent and a specialist who has worked extensively within schools. This background gives me a deep understanding of the educational system and the unique hurdles families encounter. Specialising in dyslexia and EBSA support, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where trust is paramount. My approach combines direct classroom experience with empathetic practice, ensuring that every student who learns differently is empowered to reach their full potential through highly personalised and professional interventions.

As an experienced Functional Skills invigilator and EQA, I offer tuition up to and including Level 2 in English Functional Skills. Working with Pass Functional Skills, we are also able to offer a full digital online course for self-led learners.

Our daughter loves her sessions with Sam! She still says she hates maths in school, but we are starting to see less anxiety/sadness at home which is what we were aiming for. I’m sure this is because she is gaining confidence in your sessions.
